Our third grade year here at Laura Ingalls Wilder is coming to an end very quickly! And we have so many more things to learn about and to do! Write about something you have especially enjoyed this year in third grade. We would love to hear what our friends in Austria are learning! Third grade rocks! Mrs. Nordine

ReplyDeleteHello! I have learned alot in third grade. Many activities make it very fun. My favorite activity that we do in third grade is funny money. Funny money is not real money . You can earn it if you are good, and loose it if you are bad. At the end of the year we have an auction on donated prizes with our funny money. My favorite subject is writing how about you? Anyway, third grade at Wilder is a blast! Hannah

ReplyDeleteI had fun in math because I leaned how to multiply and divide BIG numbers. I also learned to do cross mutiplication. I had to do CSAP as well, CSAP is a state test.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite day of school this year was, the corparation sales day. Its a day where you make something and sell it with funny money. Funny money is fake money.At the end we have aucution and you bid on things.Thoes were my favorite things that I did this year.

Hello! In third grade I learned so much at Wilder.Writing was probably my favorite thing.I liiked writing so much because you get to write about many different things.I liked to write Haiku poetry. I wrote about a flower a unbrella and a tree it is all related to nature which I think was fun. Writing about the flower was my favorite thing I wrote in Haiku poetry.I really enjoyed 3rd grade in Wilder Elementary.

I had a fun year in 3rd grade. My favorite subject was Science and Social Studies. I loved the Inventoin Convention. the Invention Convention is when you invent things. Benjamin
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing to in 3rd grade is math.I like math because my math teacher is awesome [My home room teacher is awesome too]she is great.She is a great mathematician too.Times tests are fun but hard there are 100 multiplication facts.Or subtraction and addition.

Hi you guys I had a really fun time in third grade. one of the fun things is field day. in field day you do all sorts of very fun things. my favorite activity was slip and slide I went really really far. but it hurts your knees.

I love third grade! It is a very fun grade in Wilder. It is fun because we have very fun subjects. we have two different math levels.In the begining of the year we have four different reading levels. But a little after the year starts we stay in our home rooms and some of us go to G.T (gifted and talented).We also have really fun field trips. We go to the four mile historic park. We also get to go down town where we get to visit the capitol building,16th street mall,and even the City and County building. To me the most fun field trip i've hade this year is probably the one where you go down town and went to the City and County building and things. This is a relly fun year in third grade at Wilder Elementary Little Puplic School and I hope you have the same. (wright back!)
ReplyDeleteAt our school, Laura Ingalls Wilder I really liked reading. I had Mrs. Herman for most of the year. One reason I really like reading is because our teacher is really nice and she never gets to mad! :] Math is also a favorite I am in advanced math and my teacher is very nice! She lets us play math games and tells us very interesting things like if we are talking about multiplication some how she starts talking about fractions and polygons.

ReplyDeleteThird grade is fun. My faviorte subject in third grade is math. What I love in math is multipacation. I love our field trips. My favirte field trip was the capital it is so fun. I love the third grade playground. I have been in this school for three years and I am leaving this year now bye.

It is now our last week of third grade. We had an awesome year. I remember we had this special called CSAP.CSAP is a really important test for third graders and up.I also had a really fun time at our field trip to downtown Denver.I will miss third grade alot.

Third grade is very fun! We also have funny money its very fun because when you have thousands of dallors you get to Auction off all the money that you earned. Mostly people bring in lots of good things just like cakes,now you know that owr third grade is fun so far!We have lots of other things that I could tell you but I probely dont have that big of room. Like I said I probely wouldnt have the room wait I already have a little scroll thing mabobber so now I have a big paragraph. I dont know what your school has but each school has their own special way of teaching and hopefuly you understrand my message THANKYOU!!!!!!!!!bye
